The Problem
Ethiopia is the second populated county in Africa. Close to 120Million. Around 80% of the total population resides in off-grid areas. Most off-Grid areas lack basic infrastructures. Such as, proper water supply, medical services, Electricity and road. As Ethiopia is a country with 13 Months of Sunshine, we didn’t use this power even if we need such untouched power to solve one of the main challenges of our communities.
Kerosine lamp or fire wood were the only solution as light source for them. Such sources are very Hazardous and dangerous for health. Life in off-grid areas is dead after sunset. Costs for Kerosine become expensive time to time. No fire wood as most areas is deforested.
Our Solution
Our Foundation trying to solve part of our community problem by electrifying off-grid communities with Solar Power. We install Solar Home systems, provide Solar Lanterns, for communities and we also install Bigger solar power for Health institutions. Solar Water pumping for community water supply and more.
